Two New DOI FieldCom Awards Enable Tribalco to Compete for Task Orders Across FieldCom’s Three Functional Categories
Tribalco, LLC, a global provider of information technology services, critical communications solutions, and warfighter survival systems, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded two prime Field Communications (FieldCom) contracts by the Department of the Interior (DOI). These two IDIQ contract awards are in FieldCom’s Functional Category 2 and Functional Category 3. These awards, along with Tribalco’s 2017 FieldCom award in Functional Category 1, give Tribalco the ability to compete in all of FieldCom’s Functional Categories: products, services, and design and build.
In Functional Category 1, Products, Tribalco will provide P25 radio infrastructure and user devices, aviation and marine radios, communications enclosures, and commercial satellite voice and data field communications. Under Category 2, Services, Tribalco will support full lifecycle services, including planning, design, implementation, operations and maintenance, and decommissioning. Tribalco’s win in Functional Category 3, Design and Build, enables Tribalco to provide end-to-end field communications support, including planning, design, implementation, installation, operations, and maintenance services and their associated products, software, and hardware.
“As a contract holder in all three of DOI FieldCom’s Functional Categories, Tribalco provides cradle-to-grave support for our FieldCom customers,” said Tribalco’s Executive Vice President and General Manager of Sales and Operations Joseph Castro. “Having a single contractor that can support field communications across the products, services, and design and build phases gives our customers seamless continuity across the project lifecycle, eliminating costly ramp-up time and re-work that can occur during contractor handoff. Tribalco is pleased to be able to provide our government customers with this level of flexibility and support through the FieldCom contracts.”
