Tribalco, LLC, a global provider of mission-critical information technology services, telecommunications solutions, and survival and safety systems, announced it has been awarded a five-year contract to provide radio systems and services for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Chief Information Office/G6.
As the single awardee of the URSS IDIQ contract, Tribalco will continue to manage the complete lifecycle of the USACE radio communications mission at domestic and foreign locations. The company will support USACE’s communications projects across a vast geographic area that includes USACE’s Washington, DC headquarters; 9 Divisions; 45 Districts, including over 1,500 field and area project offices; 8 other organizations; and data centers in Vicksburg, Mississippi, and Portland, Oregon.
Tribalco’s work on the URSS contract spans the three major task areas of centralized support, repair services, and surge support with the goal of helping USACE achieve greater return on its IT investments and consistent, cost-effective IT service delivery. Tribalco will provide enterprise-wide procurement, installation, planning, repair, engineering and design services, and emergency services for USACE’s radio systems and hardware. Tribalco will also provide services and subject matter expertise to support the Corps’ fixed terrestrial microwave systems, satellite systems, VSAT, and tower lighting monitoring equipment.
“We’re proud to apply Tribalco’s fifteen-plus years of expertise as an integrator of interoperable and secure radio networks to our continued work for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,” said Tribalco’s Executive Vice President and General Manager of Sales and Operations Joseph Castro. “We look forward to partnering with USACE again to deliver engineered communications solutions that protect and secure our Nation.”
